Hourly Rate
My hourly rate is $100 with a minimum of 1 hour.
Most jobs follow a formula; below I have detailed my flat rates.
Graphic Illustration
Simple Banners $100 For a "quick and dirty" banner using clip art and font treatment, my base rate begins at $100. Once the banner is delivered, any requested changes exceeding an additional half-hour's work will be billed according to my hourly rate. The cost of any fonts or clip art purchased at the client's request will be tacked on to the final invoice.
Logo/Custom Web Banner $400 The client will select one logo from a mock-up of 3-5 custom logos. Three rounds of changes are included. Additional changes will be billed according to my hourly rate. Once all changes are finalized, the client receives an emailed care package which includes the logo (in all formats for web and print media) and a style guide for other graphic designers to follow.
Editorial Illustrations $400 This includes a sketch or storyboard. Upon approval the client receives a print- or web-ready file.
Photography
I mostly shoot products for people's online stores or print catalogue. I love creating a vignette and capturing it on film. Sometimes I shoot portraits and journalistic type shots of people but I try to stay far away from weddings. Weddings are stressful. Right now my base rate for photography is $1000. Parties
Parties are my passion. I wouldn't call myself a wedding planner. I don't walk around with a headset barking at vendors but I do love consulting for parties of any kind. I can help develop a party theme that will include everything from invitation design to the food, the dessert table, activities for kids and/or adults, decorations, party favors and more! I've never met a party I didn't like. My base rate is $1000. Contact me for a quote.
Crafts
I have a regular crafts column on Alpha+Mom but I also offer craft workshops for kids. Craft workshops are $250 plus $20 per child for supplies. If you'd like to hire me to write a craft post for your website contact me!
