the dress
So, yes, Bug is going to be a bride for Halloween this year. We have no idea what we are doing, if trick-or-treating is in or out due to our sketchy neighborhood or if we will be hosting a little mini harvest party here at our house (email me if you’re close and would like to come) but we do know what Bug will be wearing.
Because that is all that matters, OF COURSE!

I know what we’re doing (Harvest Fest at church, with me volunteering for the 3rd shift) but I have no idea what we’re wearing. Lisa wants to be a cooked turkey.

It looks wonderful, that dress. Plus, it looks comfortable too. And she looks pleased with herself in the mirror. :)

She looks so cute!

Are you making a veil wil the leftovers?
Simply sew to a hair comb. Poof, no poof. It doesn’t even have to be sewn neatly, because the stitches hide in the tule. That’s what I did for my wedding. I liked it and I was the only one I had to please that day.

I love this post! I love her admiring herself in the mirror and love that you are such a creative encourager!! Can’t wait to see more pictures. Does she need a veil? I might still have a real one that I bought for my wedding by never wore. :) It didn’t mesh with my dress.

So beautiful! Great job Mom!

I think sewing costumes is my very favorite type of sewing-I loved making clown suits, Titanic dresses and fuzzy kitty cat costumes when my kids were small. What a lovely costume you are making for Bug! I can’t wait to hear how Halloween goes!
