Dad Mix
I went a little crazy with the graphic design for this month’s Alpha+Mom post for Father’s Day. It was a lot of fun. I hope you guys like it too. I had no idea it was that easy to record your own personal messages on cd’s.
My neighbor’s daughter (who we call Boo) recorded a whole song on the fly. It was sooooo cute. I’ll have to feature her musical talents here one of these days. She’s really good. She just makes up lyrics on the spot and on key too! So of course Bug had to copy her and made up her own song all for her daddy all about how she’ll never run away…into the street! It’s so funny. I hope it doesn’t make Toby cry.
Anyway, go check it out! It’s a super easy fun gift for father’s day that is guaranteed to be a treasure.

great idea!! I want to make a Christmas CD, have wanted to for years, I just never got around to learning how to record it in my Garage Band. Maybe this year will be the year!

That is a very sweet idea. I can just imagine Alan listening to it in his car on the way to work. We’ll have to try this.

Our son is 3. He likes to listen to those cards that play music…so we were in the grocery store the other day and I let him listen to a few. One was “I wanna rock and roll all night…and party ev-er-y day” (by KISS). Cracked me up! Might have to go back and get it seeing as my husband was apparently a big KISS fan way back in the day. And this post of yours reminds me of that.
Anyhow, I hope you are doing okay. I am praying for you and your family in these first days and weeks without your grandpa. So hard, I am sure. ((((((Brenda))))))
