I think that a rather romantic, lovely tale to tell Bug, how you wished for her and your dream came true. I wonder if I go to Paris this year and wish very hard I may be blessed too. One day you will bring your beautiful daughter to Paris and show her the city you love and then jump on the train and come to London or I’ll meet you in Paris under the Eiffel Tower, no even better the Amelie Park (I forget its name but Julian will know it he speaks french better than I do). We’ll eat freshly made croissants and coffee, sitting by the Seine near the little statue of Liberty and Bug will ride the carousel .. xx
lovely. i have high hopes of taking my kiddlets to paris when i turn 40…which is next year…which means i must get saving but if not next year, some year before they become unruly teenagers.
found your blog surfing the web via OMSH via Pioneer woman. i heart paris. my daughter is 2 but we are already reading madeline :-) those drawings are a treasure.
oh, this post brings back such sweet memories…of when i lived on St. Thomas and you were dreaming of going to Paris… ;) LOVE that she draws it for you. xoxo

It’s how wonderful how even simple coasters can be sources of inspiration. And Bug’s pretty awesome for already having a notion of perspective!
