Today, at the beach
Bug and I woke up early and took a walk to the beach with the jogger stroller this morning. I always feel good about coming home after being gone for a while and getting back to the beach. I feel like I’m appreciating being home and what it has to offer me. We’ve had a couple of hectic weeks and I’m looking forward to slowing down. Not that we didn’t have fun, we had a blast.
But slow is good too.

Slow is WONDERFUL. And your ocean is fantastic.

I think next time I need to come visit for about six weeks so we can have a slow visit. That sounds really nice.

I’ve been enjoying the slowness, too. Ahhhhhh, so nice.
(And Bethany, the six-week idea sounds really good!)

Aw, look at that tall California girl. When I started reading your blog, she was probably smaller than my own girl is now! I wouldn’t have a coherent answer for why, but Bug getting older makes me think more about cultural differences between Canada, the US, and the UK. That and the fact that G is developing a baby English accent (and telling herself “well done!” fifty times a day).

I could sit here and watch the beach video all day! I SO want to live on the beach. Sigh…..

I miss that beach. See you in January, friend. :)

Ahhhh! I needed that. I much prefer your grey beach to my grey, rainy, COLD day here. How can you not love a trip to the beach? :)

And the new header…freaky and COOL! I hope it was a recent change and that I’m not THAT unobservant.

I love your new, seaweedy banner. It moves! YAY! Oh my gosh, Bug is getting so very pretty. A big, ol’ smile on any little girl makes *me* smile.

That video is SO peaceful. I could watch it over and over…..

Your ocean is so Zen. Could watch this video over and over. BTW…where did Bug pick up those Mama long legs??!

I love this video, thank you. Closed my eyes and just listened to the waves… I miss the ocean!

Thanks I needed that.
WE just returned from our CA trip and took our time heading back up the coast to SF.
After I returned I was looking at pictures of you and and Bethany on the beach and discovered that I had BEEN on your beach….craziness.
I didn’t know where you lived or I woulda set up a meet up.
Anyway…having a really bad morning..thanks for the pick me up.

That’s awesome! Love the stroller, btw. We just bought a Citi Min by Baby Jogger and I’m excited to try it out, although we have no beaches to try it out on of course (since we live in the city and all). :)

I was ready to appreciate slow, but then I realized that this week is kind of crazy fast. Looking forward to slow next week :) I think I might prefer cold beach more than sunny beach.
