Office Box
I know this is old news if you regularly watch my flickr feed, but guess what!!!! I found a solution to my glare problem! I work in a box. I know I wrote about wearing a box on my head and that worked too but THIS! This is so much better. I like it so much I don’t even bother taking my laptop out of the box. It’s like my own private cubbie. Hah! Take that cubicle world that I used to hate so much. Now I’m lovin’ it.
Update:
Maybe I need this instead! Hahahahaha! Thanks for the laugh Laura!

Well I think this is a good solution. In your former post I was going to comment you should find a big box and make yourself a wendy house to work in – but then I thought a) you live in an appartment like me i.e. not much spare room and b) BB and the cats would think it was a great fun and move in with you c) you might think I’m crazy. Ahem.
But I am a lady who has a curtain for a bathroom door. Glass coming soon :)

There must be a better way, but hey, if it works!

So resourceful and cheap, if it does the job woohoo !!!!!!

This idea is GENIUS! The only thing missing is a Do Not Disturb sign taped to the side, then it would be heaven. I must now try and find a large box for myself!

Hope you enjoy it for a long time.

i have a lot of unpleasant cleaning & organizing tasks to attend to this morning, and this laugh is getting me off on the right foot. ;^)
also, i may steal this idea, because the sun glare in the afternoon here is horrific.

haha, necessity is the mother of invention!

That’s almost as big as my cube!

I like that you labeled it.

Ha, ha, ha, I love it!

Tres chic! You might just start a new trend!

I WISH that sun glare was the problem we had in the NW. It’s supposed to rain hard again this afternoon…just in time to cancel a softball game.
I was thinking all your really had to do was turn your chair around the other direction so the glare wasnl’t on the screen, but then it would be in your face. The box looks like a handy solution.

Just now I see the amazing resemblance of you and BB!

Ha! I just checked out the other photos, and I LOVE the fact that it’s a B&H box. You wouldn’t happen to live with a photographer, would you? :-)

The simplest solutions are always the best!

I love it! ha ha ha

Love it! And your second option just gives me the giggles!

Maybe I could use half a box…only part of my screen gets those pesky sunbeams.
Sarah
Appropriately enough I’m reading your post with the late evening sun shining straight onto my screen. Solving the problem involves getting out of my seat and drawing the curtain … far too much like hard work.

I love your box! You could easily make something funky that folds up out of the way…maybe with crk inspiration boards inside. I want to whip something up myself, lol!
BeachMama
that was CORK inspiration boards, had Apple falling asleep in my arms while I was typing… when will I learn? You could so do it though!

I love the label on the side :)

That is histerical! I love it. Revolutionize the cubicle. I need that for my temporary office space now. As for the update … I was laughing out loud in the office. Whoever thought of that needs some kind of award.

That SWEATER thing is SCARY!! I would think that you would suffocate in there or something.
I like the box. You could decopauge it, or leave it.
At this point in life whatever gets you some privacy is like GOLD!

Cool Solution! It’s cute too!

I think you look like babybug in this picture. :)

You’re workin’ it – I’m so proud.

That picture you linked to is HILARIOUS! I would say totally go for the knitted version, but you live in SoCal, and maybe it’s a bit to warm there for that.. maybe you could figure one out using a lighter material? Haha..
