Day Twenty-one: Ready, set… Turkey!
Here we go. It’s “Thanksgiving at the Beach” time! Not that I know how to cook a turkey or anything but we will be having dinner at my house with all the fixings thanks to some slave labor help from my mom.

This Thanksgiving, I will be thankful for moms who help their kids. ;-) You’ll do great. And from now on, whenever anyone asks you, you can shrug and casually say, “Cooked a full Thanksgiving meal for my extended family? Oh yeah, I’ve done that.”

My word! I saw that bird and thought you must have invited everyone you ever met for Thanksgiving. And then I wondered how you would fit it in your oven.
My roaster is so big, it doesn’t fit in my oven.

My family love white meat so some time I only cook the breast and use the thighs and legs to make a stock for dressing and gravy. I love gravy.

Does your turkey have one of those things that pop out to tell you it’s done? That used to look so great in 80’s movies, very convenient. We don’t have them in the UK, you stil have to stick a fork in your meat the old fashioned way.
We do have microwave popcorn these days, progress huh ;)
