Day Fifteen: Holding Down the Beach
Baby Bug and I have been working very hard to keep the beach down for you guys. You know just in case it blew away while we weren’t looking. We’ve been spending a lot of time sitting around on it and taking pictures.
It’s a dirty job but someone’s gotta do it. Sure we have a little extra laundry to do from sitting on the soggy sand but we’ll manage.

Can I trade places with you for a day? I’d give anything for a sunny day at the beach.

Thanks! I was worried it might blow away. ;) I love it!

It’s a hard job, but someone’s gotta do it. I’d sacrifice my time and take your place if I could. Although holding down the beaches in Texas requires a protective mask and a strong stomach, I’m afraid.

How lovely. Your pictures make me want to go to the beach so badly. But they’re contaminated with the oil spill up here. :(

Enjoy the lovely weather while it lasts, and think of your readers in colder climes as you sit on the sand with your latte.

I’ve always respected the ocean…just a little wild for me. I do appreciate the sand. Have at it while you may.

I love it. Wish I could live on vacation like you guys do!!

That’s it. I’m moving to California. Stat.

No fair! All we’ve had up here in Canada is wind (and I mean wind!), rain and cold. But we’re cozy inside by the fire! With a mocha and a good book! So there is compensation.

I’m so incredibly envious of your beach and sun and warm weather.
I’m up here in Canada and we’ve had rain (lots) and clouds (lots) and cold weather (lots, lots, lots).
Perhaps it’s time for a holiday…

Thought of you today, SAJ – We were driving along, and I heard “Two Turn Tables and a Microphone” by Beck :o) It made me think of you and your disco-tech kitchen!! It’s cooooold here…my kiddos went off to school today in their winter coats, hats, and mittens! Great pics of you and BB at the beach – I love her little fountain pony on top of her little blonde mop :o) She is too precious!

Thanks for giving all of us a window into your life with Baby Bug! Living at the beach looks sooo wonderful this time of year (especially as I shiver in my fleece in chilly Pennsylvania, far, far away from the shore!).

Hey! I’ve got those shoes!

BB is so lucky to have a mom who will let her get all soggy and sandy.
You guys are so lucky. We have beautiful weather, but it’s a concrete jungle around here.

There’s something about that top photo that reminds me of the Monty Python cut out animated foot that stomps on stuff.

Thanks for holding down the fort ;). And thank you for posting photos of the beach, it will keep us going through winter.
