fleeting moment
I don’t remember what she was upset about but I really liked capturing this photo. Something about the curly shadows and her deep sullen pout just made me want to catch it quick before light changed or she ran off with a smile because she quickly got over whatever it was she was upset about.

There is a charming timelessess in this photo, it could easily be me 30 (ack!) years ago.

Awesome pic! Really gets across her emotion. I hope she’ll enjoy it when she’s older.

Superchick has become so long-limbed and pretty (and sometimes sullen, apparently) !

This pictures says 1000 words! The lazy days of summer, sitting on Gramma’s back porch step with nothing to do…or something like that!

I love it! This will probably be one of SC’s favorite photos of herself when she’s older. It tells such a story. I have a similar one of Annalie in a time-out last summer that I love.

I always thought she looked like her dad…. but here you can see a clear glimpse of her mom! I love the picture.

That truly is a gorgeous picture. I love capturing moments like that and sharing them later when the person doesn’t remember what they were upset about. Stunning shadows and great composition.
