I’ve been tagged by Erika to do a little meme-y thing. I’m terrible at these. I’m not very interesting, I don’t have any great secrets to reveal and I never get any comments on these… so I usually don’t do them. However, Erika is a sweetie and I owe her. She asked me a really hard photoshop question like three months ago and I still have not gotten back to her. I suck. So here’s me trying to make up for that.

    Because you don’t normally get comments on these I thought I’d help :)

    I am reading A Walk in the Woods right now. I’d also suggest all his other books as well if you have not read them already.

    I have a great film recommendation based on your film selection – Cinema Paradiso which is an Italian film and is my favourite of all time.

    I was going to say the same thing as gorillabuns. I can teach you to back a cake from scratch and you can help me decorate it :). You have some pretty fun 7 things before you die, it seems to me you could accomplish most of those pretty easily, you are so talented.

    yay! you did it :) i usually run and hide from these but i liked this one a lot. made me to think about my goals.

    so that’s always a good thing :) i’m laughing about “are you poopin’?” that’s as real as it gets.

    I too want to hike the Grand Canyon. Making a cake from scratch isn’t that hard–but you know, if you have things you’d rather do, there are many wonderful cake mixes and bakeries out there. ;-) My mom’s theory is, if we didn’t pay other people to do the things we can’t do ourselves, thousands of people wouldn’t have jobs. Also, she says her time is worth more to her than the money she spends on a shortcut (buying a cake from the bakery, paying the skycap to check her bags at the curb instead of lugging them all the way across the airport, et cetera).

    Oh, and I don’t want to give the impression that my mom is rich, because she isn’t. She worked at the phone company for 30 years, and my dad is an accounting clerk for the government, and they’re pretty solidly middle-class Midwesterners. My mom just doesn’t mind spending a little bit of money.
