Hooray! Soon she’s going to be free to roam, and that’s even better! So cute — great beach pictures. I never wanted to move to Southern California until I started reading your site.
so, i’ve only been following your site for a week or so now (LOVED the pinkkkitty party pictures!!), but my oh my you are making me want to have a Baby Bug of my very own!!
Warning, you may want to delete the post posted at 3.44 p.m. today. Super long, so probably messes with your loading/band width or what-ever.
Hint, get the neices to teach baby bug how to turn a somersault. My grandson does the standing bent in two like BB, but all the grownups in his life are too big (be it heavy or tall) to teach him.
i have been a lurker for a VERY VERY long time, before you were pregnant, before trip to europe (was it france? i forgot) i don’t know why i haven’t commented before, i should have, i love reading about your and baby bug’s adventures everyday, this is my favorite blog to read and i had to comment to tell you that i’m soooooooooooo happy that you used youtube this time, i’ve never been able to see any of the video’s bc i’m a pc user and hate quicktime, so please if you can keep using youtube so i can see baby bug in action
and a big congratulations to you both, i’m sure first steps aren’t very far away, the video was so cute, you’re both just too sweet
Awww, way to go!! She’s so cute getting up on those feet. Audrey still hasn’t figured out how to do that. She keeps getting her butt in the air and walking backwards, haha. Right now she needs something to pull up on and then she take a step away and stand for a few seconds before falling to her butt.
Has the standing affected sleeping at all? Audrey is starting to have night wakings and naps are really wacky. I think we’re transitioning to one nap.
wow she is already STANDING UP!!!! it’s like she was just born. and now she just turnd 1 year old and she’s standing up already I can not belive it.well tata for now.guess were I got that from
Try holding onto her hips when she is praticing walking if you want her to walk fast. It gets them used to holding their own upper body weight and actually balancing on their feet. I started teaching the kids that way after a friend’s baby could only walk with their hands above their head for the first few weeks.
I found myself all cheery and teary as I watched Baby Bug try her hardest to stand on her own two feet :) Thank you for sharing these little delights. Your blog has always been a bright spot on the internet :)

She is so cute. I love how she clapped her hands when she stood up, so pleased with herself (and cute too)

She actually moves like a dancer–a modern dancer, but still…very fluid.
