7 month movie
I can’t believe how time has sped up lately. I’d say five months was the real turning point from soft mushy baby to wriggling little person who goes every where and does everything but it has just gotten faster and faster every month. Here she is already seven months and I can barely keep up with her and all the milestones she’s hitting.
There’s the sitting up and hand clasping, the holding her own spoon and drinking from a cup. The banging and the grabbing at everything from my hair to her Daddy’s glasses to the leaves on the plants we pass by on our walks. There’s CONSTANT wiggling in general! I can barely hold her sometimes because she wants to wriggle right out my grasp. She loves her cousins and when my niece Rapunzel jumps up and down, she jumps up and down along with her almost flying right out of my arms. There’s the laughing and the “laaaaah laaaah” “daaaah daaaaaaah” sounds… No “maaaah maaaaah” yet but have I mentioned the CRAWLING!!!
Yes, she is starting to crawl. Thankfully it’s still a somewhat slow Army crawl with lots of belly time but I know it’s only a matter of days before I have to shut the patio door or she’ll be long gone over the edge of the balcony. Bye bye open spaces, hello baby gates. There so much to do and so little time to do it in.
Enjoy!(1.87 megs quicktime)

That was awesome. J came over to watch Baby Bug and he loved it when she stuck the soother back in her mouth. She may have her first male admirer ;).

Priceless! She is so adorable. And you do such a nice job with the movies. You’ve warmed my heart and put a smile on my face. Thank you!

BB is such a frog! (in a nice way) That is so cute. I laughed out loud! You’ve got a real ham on your hands. (Sort of like what you were like!) “I not a ham” (sic).

So cute! You will treasure these memories. I especially love the moving target on the changing table part. Keep those movies coming!

Oh my goodness! That is adorable. I have been reading your site for such a long time now but could not *not* comment on this video. It is so cute! I just had my fitrst baby two months ago so watching this makes me anxious for what’s to come. Both the good and bad anxious – oh my gosh what am I in for?! and – oh what I have to look forward to! I love it. She just gets more and more beautiful! Your videos are such a great idea. What a way to remember what flies by in the blink of an eye.

Fabulous little clip of a fabulous little girl! She and my granddaughter, Sophie, are moving along at just about the exact same pace. I think Sophie is a week or so older (born January 10), but she is sitting, crawling, swiping at everything and just like your little bug on the changing table. I don’t know whether or not to break the news to you, but…these kids are more active than most! (and I happen to think that’s a good thing in this day of sedentary, overweight kids).
Your little one is perfection!

The diaper changing killed me! hahaha. That and how she puts her binky back in her mouth with such purpose. Those are the two things that are almost identical in my house right now. Love the rocking and then crawling. Baby Bug is so adorable and definitely a little wiggle worm.

You are doing so FRICKING awesome, it’s unbelievable. Now I’m looking at you like I did other moms, as superheroes. You were like me, once upon a time, now you’re in the other “wow, does it just come natural and can I attain that one day” group.
Inspiration for sure, beautiful editing and these movies are going to be cherished forever.

That video made my day! Baby Bug is a gem!

B – She is soooo fricken adorable. I could not help but laugh with the diaper changing. It never gets any better, they wiggle and wiggle and wiggle until they are not in diapers anymore. Thanks for sharing!

I love these videos! Looks like you have the same fun I have when changing Erik. At least he’s discovered a new “toy” that is keeping him occupied these days. I guess you won’t get to experience that with Bug *lol*

My girls are 6 months old so it’s great to watch how Baby Bug is developing. I can’t wait untilt he girls can sit up for longer than 30-seconds.
(And I use a blender for baby food making… Youa re a saint to grind and grind and grind.)

She’s GORGEOUS! Her pre-crawl frog stance is too cute. I remember those days like they were yesterday, but they were actually over 2 years ago.

Love the music. And yes, she’s QUITE the wiggler! Make sure to get on your hands and knees to find all those dust-bunnies under the couch!!!
I can’t believe she’s crawling! Sniff.
josephine
pshaw! she eats dust bunnies for lunch! what about the cat box and the cat food! that’s what I’m worried about.

I love these movies, but this one…oh my! When she’s sitting up looking all proud of herself and pops that pacie back in her mouth I can’t even recognize her she’s so grown up!
ioi
cats can jump… have you thought of putting the catbox and catfood (and water :P) behind a baby gate? I used to have all our cat stuff in our former bathroom and just put a baby gate up. Our cats were lazy though so I ended up raising the gate about 3 or 4 inches off the ground so the cats could squeezed underneath…. it was funny to see my baby trying to squeeze underneath too! She never succeeded though. :)

I love your monthly Baby Bug movies. They’re so charming! As is she. And her Momma “ain’t” too bad herself. ;)

I’ve always loved your little movies. She is so adorable I can hardly stand it. :)
