Hi – I am totally a lurker who has never met you but I love your website…I don’t even know how I surfed here.
Ignore this if you know this, and I’d be surprised if you hadn’t heard this….sounds like you need to see a lactation consultant. Real live people whose jobs/volunteer work helps mamas nurse better, more efficiently, and without PAIN. It shouldn’t hurt still. there are a few little tricks and hints that a short visit might fix. If your local hospital didn’t offer one, call and ask, call a midwife place, or your local La Leche League…even their website has a lot of info. Doctors are usually useless.
From just reading, Bug doesn’t latch on well. It doesn’t mean she isn’t a genious, but she is new at this, too! Her poistioning could be a little off, too (also doesn’t mean you aren’t a genius).
Please report back on your blog that you’ve consulted someone about this. Wouldn’t it be nice to know that in an hour this uncomfortable problem could be resolved?! And it will be an excuse to get out of the house, see a medical professional and know that they won’t stab her with a needle. How fun!
No, he doesn’t know yet. I can’t wait for him to read all the comments. Especially StillHeidi’s about being “all business in the front and party in the back”! Too funny!

That is halarious! Could it be Toby? (If so I think H takes after you in coloring, needless to say) What a cutie!

My wife is convinced it’s Toby too… is it just the Canadian air, or do they know what they’re talking about.

Of course it’s Toby. Too cute. What beautiful hair.

A complete doll INSPITE of his shirt! Those were some bad times for clothes. Even with that pretty hair, he looks completely like a boy!

Off course it’s Toby and he has not changed a bit. He just looks older that’s all but he’s got a baby face.

BEST. PICTURE. EVER. I love it. His hair was very ‘business in the front and party in the back.’
