The Second Degree (post) ha ha!

July 19th, 2011

raise your hand if you're degree

It’s two weeks later and I know you are all wondering how I did with my “Get Into the Move Challenge”. Well…. I did okay. Not my best but I’m not off the wagon completely. Thankfully! I’ve lost no weight nor gained. I’m still strugging with eating too much (why do I have to be such a good cook?!!) but I am also still going to step aerobics. That class rocks. And after two weeks I’m no longer the slow kid in the class. Now I can do my step-repeaters and basic-right mambos just as quick as Ms. Hottie McHottie Pants in the front. Take that sizzle butt.

The Facebook ap is super fun. I love that most of the questions they asked are really super simple and I could slam dunk five points but my biggest problem was remembering to log in and post my dang points. I think all of you with smart phones might have an advantage over me. While you’re waiting in line for your blueberry slurpie you can log in and earn some points. Meanwhile I’m standing there bored looking at you playing with your smart phone.

The deodorant I will say is kicking butt. Not once when I have remembered to use it have I noticed that I have B.O. But on those two days I did forget? Wooooooooooieee. Those days were bad. I think I’ve been appreciating the motionSense Technology (The only anti-perspirant formula activated directly by movement, not moisture) without even realizing I was using it. It’s stealth like that. You only notice it when you DON’T use it which I do not recommend.

This blogger was brought to you by DEGREE

So there you have it from me and Degree: Get out there and get your move on!

And by move on, I mean get moving and tell me how your two weeks went in the comment box so you can win $100 Visa card from Blogher and Degree. The contest will end August 15th at 5 pm PST.

  2. FaithJ Says:

I’ve been really good the past two weeks, though there have been all kinds of special events (weddings, birthdays, graduations), I have watched my portion control. Best of all: I made it to the gym 3 times each week. That makes all the difference to me. I feel stronger, though I am the same weight.

Thanks for the chance to win…again!

  3. Rachel Says:

I am LOVING the new deodorant. I think that sometimes whatever deodorant I happen to be using just stops working for me and I need to switch it up. I tried this one and love it. I have been working out just to maintain the status quo, because I can’t stop eating my delicious creations, either. This morning we made raspberry scones with fresh raspberries we picked last evening. I was totally channelling YOU!!

I’ve been jogging every day since it’s cooler out. I’ve been pretty good with portion control, with the exception of a few starbucks runs!

I’ve totally trashed any progress the last week or so. I’ve had this unreasonable craving for candy and I’ve given in far too much. I have to really dig my heels in this week.

I’ve made a lot of progress changing up my workout routine in the past month. It’s been so hot and humid lately but I feel better after working out!

It went OK – I could (and should) have worked out more but I lost ~5 pounds so I’m happy with that :)

I’ve been enjoying swimming lately, in our backyard pool. It’s fun & is good exercise. So sad that this will be coming to a close soon as it starts getting cooler out.

I have been getting a lot better about waking up before work to go work out. I used to say I was going to workout after work, but usually didn’t because I was tired from working all day!
