La Créme de la Cream!
March 1st, 2011This is a sponsored review from BlogHer and La Crème.
I’m so glad I finally have a job where my talents for drinking obsessive amounts of coffee have been put to good use. It’s about time! Today I’m reviewing La Créme coffee creamers, an all-natural 100%-dairy alternative to all those flavored artificial non-dairy creamers that are all the rage.
I am the perfect target market for this product. I hate unnatural flavored non-dairy creamers with a passion. Ask my friends. They call me the coffee snob. Sure, I love sugar as much as the next person and I’ve given in plenty of times to the siren song of those flavored creamers that promise me that my coffee will taste like it’s had a cinnamon bun dissolved in it or been visited by French fairies or something. They smell really good. The picture on the outside of the bottle looks good too. And I admit it tastes great for about three sips…and then this weird sensation comes over my palate. I just feel like I’m drinking a plastic byproduct of petroleum. I’m sure most of this in my head but no matter how many times I’ve tried it, I just can’t shake how unnatural non-dairy creamers taste.
Maybe because they are!
Non-dairy creamers are kept in the dairy section of your grocery but they don’t come from cows. They come from coconuts. Seriously: HYDROGENATED COCONUT OIL, SODIUM CASEINATE, DIPOTASSIUM PHOSPHATE, MONO- AND DIGLYCERIDES, ACETYLATED TARTARIC ACID ESTERS OF MONO- AND DIGLYCERIDES bla bla bla blaaah! No petroleum jelly in there, thankfully but still, not very natural.
Personally, my favorite creamer is half and half, straight up. Stir in a half a spoon of real sugar and I’m even better. I’ll have my cinnamon bun on the outside of my cup, thank you, and then I can dip it if I want to. I think that’s how coffee should be enjoyed.
However, not everybody is me. To be perfectly honest I probably add more than two tablespoons of half and half to my coffee. I should watch my calories but coffee is not where I choose to do that. I pour my cream in liberally. I like it to hit the bottom and then swirl up to the top to create that lovely light brown color. Mmmmmmmmm!
If you are watching calories and carefully measuring in your creamer, La Créme would be a smart choice for you. The original flavor (which I would call unflavored) clocks in at 20 calories for one serving (1 tbsp) and only has 1 gram of sugar. Not bad. Of course who puts only one tablespoon of creamer in her coffee? Not me. The flavored versions have 40 calories per serving and only 5 grams of sugar. Still pretty healthy!
So if you want your cream and sugar all mixed up so you can add it to your coffee in one swift motion, (yes, I’m rolling my eyes here…you lazy non-morning people) then La Créme would be a smart choice for you. AND best of all, La Créme has ZERO trans fat! Non-dairy creamers claim as much but they’re lying. They have just little enough in a “serving size” to legally say “0 trans fat.” But nobody puts in just one tablespoon of creamer. Tricky tricky!
I say, stick to the real stuff. La Créme is real and it comes in four all-natural flavors: French Vanilla, Original, Hazelnut and Cinnamon Vanilla. I like French Vanilla and Original the best.
I had my dad try it too and he agreed, French Vanilla was the tastiest. We weren’t too keen on the Hazelnut.
So there you have it. There are 100%-natural flavored creamers out there! Now you know. They should be coming to a grocery store near you any day!
You can visit their official site and learn even more. (Gumball approves of their graphics.)
Now it’s your turn to chime in. How do you like your coffee? Lay it on me. Are you addicted to those fake super-sweet non-dairy creamers? You can admit it. Lots of people are. I’m sure you are in good company. Or do you like it black? I wish I did. Or are you like me with lots of half and half and a heart attack on the side? Can I still enter if I’m not a coffee drinker? My husband loves his coffee light with milk.

i like my coffee black. Or with a bit of 2% milk. depends on how i’m feeling…
March 1st, 2011 at 8:09 pm
I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but when I do drink it I tend to drink it black. I don’t like the artificial creamers that are usually offered with the coffee.
March 1st, 2011 at 8:34 pm
I do love those fake sweet nondairy creamers! I also like cream and a bit of Splenda. I just love coffee!

Personally I don’t drink coffee but I could live on cappuccino and lattes. Especially white chocolate caramel and french vanilla.
March 1st, 2011 at 11:48 pm
Oh…I LOVE coffee. I always try the newest flavored creamer…but they just don’t taste that great. My favorite is my blueberry coffee from Dunkin Donuts…but I can’t get the blueberry flavor to use at home! :) I will definitely be looking for this in my local grocery stores and see how it compares to the “other” creamers out there! :)
March 1st, 2011 at 11:58 pm
I’ve started drinking it black with a few sugar cubes if Amber makes it. She used too much creamer and I gagged.
Plain lattes with sugar are good just about everywhere, but I only like vanilla lattes from that pricey place we all know and love. Though I have gotten fairly good at making my own.
March 2nd, 2011 at 12:04 am
I, too, am a coffee snob. I am very picky about my coffee first, then how it is prepared. I make my own vanilla syrup – because I can not stand all the added stuff or the artificial flavors. I make a 10 ounce cup of Sumatra or Kona coffee and add 2 tbsp of vanilla syrup to my coffee. Sometimes if I’m feeling all dessert-like I will add a bit of half and half and some fresh whipped cream on top and I might even sprinkle a little cinnamon on it.
March 2nd, 2011 at 12:46 am
La Creme is not available in my area
:o(
March 2nd, 2011 at 1:42 am
Mmmmmm. I like mine with a lot of milk and a little cream or vanilla syrup. Can’t wait to try the French vanilla.

I NEED this. Also–a glass coffee cup! Beautiful. I used to like those creamers, thinking the “fat free” kinds were so great–but you’re right, you said what I couldn’t put my finger on–they taste so chemical-y! I like my daily coffee with a little half and half (a lot if I’m feeling wild!) and a couple spoonfuls of sugar. Now I want some!
March 2nd, 2011 at 3:47 am
This stuff looks good…fancy, even! Your cat mug is hilarious, BTW. Lately I have been drinking my coffee with fat-free half and half and a little sugar.
March 2nd, 2011 at 1:34 pm
I drink my coffee strong, hot, and black.
March 2nd, 2011 at 6:27 pm
I like it with cream and sugar
March 2nd, 2011 at 7:13 pm
I like flavored coffee only with matching creamer flavor and a little half and half. I’m high maintenance. :D
March 2nd, 2011 at 8:20 pm
I like my coffee with Splenda and cream!
aubreyfick@yahoo.com
March 2nd, 2011 at 10:31 pm
Three cups of half caff and I pour plain old 2% milk in. I know there is enough when it hits the bottom and bounces back up…a quarter cup…now stirring necessary.
March 2nd, 2011 at 11:08 pm
I think I must be kind of snobish. I like mine with half and half only. The rest of the family loves those other creamers. I find them horribly sweet and fake tasting. La Crème sounds intriguing.
March 3rd, 2011 at 1:04 am
I’m also fond of half and half, with sugar. My favorite are the brown packets of Raw Sugar if I’m out…I try to remember to buy some but always forget!
March 3rd, 2011 at 2:09 am
I always fill my coffee with lots of cream and sugar. Can’t stand the taste of black coffee, blegh!
March 3rd, 2011 at 4:04 am
I love my coffee with lots of cream or shall I say, I love coffee in my cream. I’m really a latte person yes I use the non-dairy flavored cream I’M SO SHAMED. I’ve tried other new flavored creams made with real milk, but my mother and sister have lactose issues so you know what that means. We can’t wait to try new La Creme.
March 3rd, 2011 at 1:37 pm
I drink my coffee black even though I’m passionate about hazelnut because I don’t like all the additives in the creamers.
March 3rd, 2011 at 6:59 pm
While I usually use milk and sugar in my coffee, I admit I’m one of the ones who likes those fake coffee creamers on occasion =) But these sound interesting. I’ll have to check them out!
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:08 pm
I’m like you and like real half and half, and real sugar. And it has to be JUST the right color of light brown when mixed together!
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:10 pm
oooh I love soymilk and honey. mmm My favorite. But I do think that Vanilla Cinammon sounds AMAZING. yum.
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:12 pm
We are definitely coffee snobs. Being Italian and having lived in Italy, we make our own cappuccino every morning, using whatever Italian coffee we can find (Lavazza and Saquella being our favorites) and whole milk. When I can get it, we even use non-homogenized whole milk. We have a machine that was given to us as a housewarming gift from a friend. When we travel, we take our macchinetta (the little stovetop espresso pot) with us and a little frothing pitcher, along with the coffee. That’s how snobby we are! Oh, and 2 level spoons of organic cane sugar in that coffee, please. Needless to say, we totally avoid fake coffee creamers completely, and flavored coffee is akin to a mortal sin.
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:12 pm
I do not like non-dairy creamers, even the ones in the dairy case.. I usually just go for half and half or *gasp* straight cream.. and lots of it :D I use lots of sugar too.. It makes my sweet tooth and coffee tooth happy at the same time. I miss coffee right now though.. Being pregnant sure is inconvienent to the coffee lover deep in my soul. :) I will most definitely have to try this stuff.. looks delish.
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:13 pm
When I was working (I’m a SAHM now) I had to train myself to drink coffee black, for those office meetings where there wasn’t time for adding stuff to coffee, or sweeteners/cream wasn’t available. Now, even though I have a terrible sweet tooth, I still can’t shake the black coffee habit. Any additions and it’s just “too sweet”.
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:18 pm
I usually drink mine black, but if I want my coffee to be like dessert, I add some whole milk or half and half. I bet these flavorings would make it even better though.
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:20 pm
I’ll admit I like the non-dairy stuff. Pumpkin spice is pretty good and peppermint is yummy. Those are seasonal though. I like half and half and sugar too. LOTS of sugar. I like my coffee pale and sweet, just like me. :)
I’m trying to limit my fake food intake though, so if my market gets these in I might give them a whirl.
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:22 pm
I like mine with a lot of creamer! and a splenda!
This looks like a good one. I will be on the lookout!
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:27 pm
I like my coffee with cream and no sugar!
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:29 pm
I’m kinda a coffee whore. I just want coffee. If I have to, I even drink instant (never at home, though)
I’ve had plenty of bottles of the plastic ‘creamer’ in the fridge, though. I’ve also gone through periods where I buy coconut milk creamer. That’s not bad.
If you were to come over right now, though- I have La Creme creamer in my fridge : )
I’m enjoying it, and will need to go find more very very soon.
(I’m also on ww, and 1T is not enough to flavor my coffee. I finally figured out that 2T does the trick, and is the same points value. Duh.)
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:31 pm
Quarter strength latte with 2 sugars please for me. Anything stronger and I go a bit nuts. I love the flavour of real coffee, but can’t handle the stimulous. I get the jitters, and the speedies.
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:31 pm
I am a coffee purist too!! I can’t stand the flavored creamers. give me some plain milk or cream and I am happy!!!

I tweeted. Twittered? Here’s my second entry…
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:35 pm
Pretty plain these days, just a little half and half – boring! I will have to give the new creamer a try, the calories are pretty similar to the half and half.
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:36 pm
I love my coffee with real cream and a bit of sugar. Delish! I will admit that I do love the Pumpkin Spice creamer that comes out a Christmas and it is much more affordable than Starbucks.
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:36 pm
I usually just drink it with a splash of milk, unless I’m splurging on some fancy-schmancy Starbucks drink. These sound really good, though!
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:42 pm
I used to use the fake creamer. It is tasty…. but, like you started to feel like I was drinking something awfullllly plasticky/bad for me. So, I switched to half and half, but can’t stick to 1 Tablespoon! Oh well. I only have one cup a day and add sugar/splenda mix. I know, I know, I just contradicted myself! Real half and half, fake sugar! ha!
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:47 pm
I love the smell of coffee but the taste, not so much. I am addicted to hot black tea straight up – Earl Grey and English Breakfast are my favorites.
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:51 pm
I love my coffee with half-and-half, but I stick with skim or 1% milk most of the time to watch the calories. But boy do I appreciate the half-and-half when I treat myself (I always buy it if we have guests!), it’s divine.
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:55 pm
I love to have some coffee with my cream and sugar as my hunny puts it…..mostly cream and sugar! LOL
March 3rd, 2011 at 9:17 pm
The love my coffee with half and half and a little sugar too! I always find the other creamers much too sweet. Looking forward to trying this.
March 3rd, 2011 at 10:23 pm
I like my coffee with half and half and a little bit of sugar : ) I like the way Dunkin makes it better though!
March 3rd, 2011 at 10:35 pm
Black and sweet! Creamer in my coffee makes me wince :/
March 3rd, 2011 at 10:45 pm
French Vanilla flavored fake creamer. Horrible, I know and I’ve wanted to get away from it but real half and half doesn’t come with sugar and I don’t like the taste I get when I try mixing in sugar with coffee and half and half…its the sugar. I can only drink one brands french vanilla though. I’ve tried french vanilla in other brands as well as other flavors in the same brand and can’t stand any of them.
I’m gonna be on the lookout for these though. I’d be ecstatic if I can get away from fake and not have a funky taste.
March 3rd, 2011 at 10:54 pm
I am not a coffee drinker (though I wish I was) but I LOVE the smell of coffee. Any coffee smells delish but I can’t seem to drink it unless its basically hidden by tons of chocolate, milk, and sugar. Maybe 10% coffee ;-). However my husband loves it black with just a tbsp of sugar and he’s good to go.
March 3rd, 2011 at 10:55 pm
I admit it. I LOVE french vanilla fake creamer — it’s my guilty pleasure. HOWEVER. I’ve been seeing ads for these La Creme creamers and have been dying to try them. Of course, I’d be even happier to try a $100 gift card… :)
March 3rd, 2011 at 10:56 pm
My ideal coffee: fresh sumatra beans, medium to darkish roast, brewed in a french press with 1/2 and 1/2 and turbino sugar. per-fection.
MOST OFTEN I am drinking mcdonalds drive thru with 10 sugars and 10 creams…I call it a speed ball…
March 3rd, 2011 at 11:02 pm
I went to try the real La Creme
March 3rd, 2011 at 11:02 pm
I like my coffee sweet and blonde like me. :) My great grandmother used to tell me that when I was a little girl about Bug’s age. She would tell me to say that when I got older as she poured me a baby cup of coffee with cream and sugar…and then told me not to tell my mom. :)
March 3rd, 2011 at 11:03 pm
I forgot to add- a little real sugar and some dairy of some kind. We keep the sweet stuff in the fridge, but I like half and half and regular milk too. Top it with whipped cream and caramel and we can be friends forever.
March 3rd, 2011 at 11:22 pm
cream (or half and half or2%, whatever’s around) and sugar. Sometimes some chocolate syrup= mocha — yum!
March 3rd, 2011 at 11:45 pm
Half & half when I’m at home, but I will admit to using the powered non-dairy stuff when I’m at work.
March 4th, 2011 at 12:02 am
I take it with sugar and sometimes a bit o’ fake pumpkin creamer. La Creme sounds wonderful and I would love to try some. Cheers.
March 4th, 2011 at 12:09 am
Just milk (2% is fine), no sugar – but I have to have a cookie or a piece of cake with it. Or at least toast and marmalade.
March 4th, 2011 at 12:24 am
I like my coffee like you…simple with 1/2 & 1/2 swirling into a creamy caffeine treat…numerous times a day…this sounds intriguing though…too bad your taste test day wasn’t when we stopped by for a visit!!
March 4th, 2011 at 12:44 am
I like my daily cup of coffee with french vanilla creamer. Yes, it is the non-dairy kind. I usually buy CoffeeMate because it is cheaper, but I sometimes buy International Delight. I just saw the La Creme on a commercial two days ago and thought about trying it. Now I have two reasons to try it! Thanks!
March 4th, 2011 at 12:59 am
Yeah, I hate that I am addicted to the fake stuff. And a goodly portion of it. The best is with a few bits of Andes Mints thrown in. This, though sounds awesome and much better in general. I will absolutely be looking for this at the store.
I’m also planning on giving up coffee and sugar for Lent and hoping that I will be able to go back to coffee sometime with a better habit of less junk creamer.
March 4th, 2011 at 1:03 am
Oh man, this is like my favorite topic. Plus, did I tell you my new year’s resolution was to enter more of this giftcard contests on blogs i ALREADY read?
So: my favorite way to drink coffee is in latte form from Starbucks. But if I’m having it at home I either like it with CoffeeMate non-dairy creamers (mmmmm) or black. I can’t stand milk, half & half, cream, or sugar. Blech. Give me the fakey fakey fakey please. :)
March 4th, 2011 at 2:41 am
My favorite way to drink coffee is with soymilk. Soymilk latte, to be exact. But, at home, I usually settle for just milk and a bit of sugar.
March 4th, 2011 at 2:41 am
Cream and sugar for me! And, since this has been designated a Safe Space, I will admit to an obsession with the Peppermint Mocha non-dairy creamer. So yummy! Not petroleumy!
March 4th, 2011 at 2:53 am
Saw it at the grocery store–what is that coffee looking smudge that goes down the front of the container? That kind of bugged me…I swear it kept me from buying it. But after reading about it, I think I’ll try it!
March 4th, 2011 at 2:59 am
I’m not a coffee drinker but I have to have plain old 2% milk in my tea or I won’t drink it. Its even better with a drip of honey!
March 4th, 2011 at 3:51 am
I’m cheap…my coffee is more like nonfat milk coffee flavored sugar sweetened hot substance! My little lady I caregive for drinks it just like you! I had to switch her to nonfat half and half.
March 4th, 2011 at 5:00 am
Hello from Seattle… I’m a TOTAL coffee snob and know just what you’re talking about! Can’t wait to try these creamers… I usually just use 1/2 & 1/2 and shavings of good chocolate. Even my 9 & 11 year old daughters are regular coffee drinkers, so you’re preaching to the choir here as far as coffee obsession goes. Enjoy!
March 4th, 2011 at 5:47 am
I’m fussy fussy about coffee and like the stuff I make best. Fresh ground beans, about twice what one ought to put in the maker, so it’s really thick and dark. A liberal slosh of 1/2 n 1/2 and a meager spoon of sugar. When I want to go Middle Eastern, I add a cardamom pod to the beans before I grind . . . . smells amazing and tastes delish . .
March 4th, 2011 at 12:46 pm
I like my coffee light with just half a sugar. I usually use skim milk. I will have to try half and half or these new creamers for a more indulgent after dinner coffee.
March 4th, 2011 at 1:15 pm
I only drink coffee if I am sitting at my desk falling asleep and I used to pour (roughly) half a cup of the fakey office use creamer in it too…(in hazelnut). Recently though in an attempt to be healthier I switched over to chai tea and then slowly stopped drinking that too…but sometimes I smell really good coffee and think mmm (though I know I still won’t like it)
March 4th, 2011 at 1:26 pm
I drink it with way too much cream and way too much sugar. Bad, I know, but that’s the only way it tastes even remotely acceptable to me.
March 4th, 2011 at 1:47 pm
I’m afraid I am addicted to the coffee mate peppermint mocha. Sorry coffee snobs.
March 4th, 2011 at 2:31 pm
I’m a half and half girl. I probably add 2 tablespoons, too! Going to get another cup right now…
March 4th, 2011 at 3:08 pm
I drink my coffee black (but talk about a coffee snob! Mine has to be made from freshly ground beans, and in my french press!) UNLESS it’s November or December and I can get the Peppermint Mocha creamer. I’ve been known to stockpile it so that I can ration it out for the remaining cold months of winter!
March 4th, 2011 at 3:12 pm
I gave up sugar the FIRST time I tried coffee sugarless – I have NO idea why people ever thought of putting sugar in coffee in the first place) Drank it with a shot of half and half for years, and then started drinking it black on one of my diet trials – I calculated how many calories from fat I was consuming in my coffee daily and I decided I’d rather drink black coffee and keep eating cheese. . . Anyway, I still sometimes add a shot of half and half when I’m feeling frivolous, or the coffee isn’t the best, but mostly I love it black. I don’t have to get in line for the Starbucks condiment counter, I just grab my latte – and then stand around waiting for my husband to get his coffee the exact correct shade of brown. . .
March 4th, 2011 at 3:43 pm
I’ll admit it, I LOVE those non dairy fakey creamers. Hazelnut is my fave!
March 4th, 2011 at 4:22 pm
I like my coffee with fat free half and half (poured until I can see it start to come up through the coffee) and a rounded teaspoon of turbinado. Of course, my mug is 16 ounces so that’s what – three cups at once? My husband likes a little coffee with his (real deal half and half) cream and a packet of Splenda. We will use milk if the cream available is fake. No partially hydrogenated coconut oil allowed.
March 4th, 2011 at 4:24 pm
BLACK is Best! In the mornings, I like to eat something sweet and drink a big mug of BLACK coffee. :)
March 4th, 2011 at 5:34 pm
Um, my coffee is mostly flavoring with a little bit of coffee poured in to break it up. I don’t let myself have it very often.
March 4th, 2011 at 5:39 pm
Although I generally like my coffee black, sometimes a little milk and flavor sound good to me! My daughter has a severe dairy allergy, so we don’t tend to keep dairy in the house, but I would try this for sure. On a truly yummy, non-dairy creamer note, I would recommend trying coconut milk creamer — natural and tasty.
March 4th, 2011 at 5:57 pm
I love my coffee with half and half and 2 Splenda. yum yum yum
March 4th, 2011 at 6:37 pm
When I could still drink coffee (I’m currently pregnant, so I’m abstaining for now, but I miss it SO MUCH), I preferred it with a TON of sugar and a little bit of either milk or creamer. Mmm, so good! Coffee, I miss you!!!
March 4th, 2011 at 6:54 pm
I am an avid half and half drinker as well. This sounds like it would be doable. I abhor those fake super sweet creamers. :o)
March 4th, 2011 at 8:20 pm
just a touch of half and half
March 4th, 2011 at 8:24 pm
My fav has always been good ol’ half-n-half, but I’ve been testing fat free half-n-halfs recently. I keep trying to convince myself that I don’t notice that it’s horrible, but I notice. So, I tried the La Creme unflavored yesterday and really liked it!
March 4th, 2011 at 8:28 pm
My husband and I love coffee and we are addicted to French vanilla coffee mate. We actually skip the coffee if we don’t have it. This stuff sounds groovy! Thank you:)
March 4th, 2011 at 8:43 pm
I will take mine with cream and lots of sugar. I do like the coffemate hazelnut too.
March 4th, 2011 at 8:58 pm
I love my coffee with an assortment of flavored creamers—I will mix French Vanilla Creamer with Cinnamon Creamer or Hazelnut with both of them. I also add a shot of flavored syrup (such as caramel, hazelnut, french vanilla, maple, chocolate, butterscotch, etc.) and my sugar (yes even after all that I still add a couple tsp of sugar…..I can’t stand non sweet coffee :(P) I never do my coffee the same every day because I get bored too easily, so I mix all the flavors up each day!!!
March 4th, 2011 at 10:17 pm
I love my coffee all fancy-schmancied up with cream and sugars and flavorings (chai, being my fave), but in my everyday reality I drink my coffee with a couple Tbls of 2% milk (because that is what my 3 year old drinks) and 2 Tsp of sugar.
March 5th, 2011 at 12:10 am
I’m actually not a coffee drinker. I am sorta thankful as I know if my mother, or anyone for that matter, who don’t get their coffee in the morning- well, they get really crabby! So if I won this I would pass it onto her! =D

I usually overload on the fake creamers (probably 2 Tbsp as opposed to the recommended 1), and I often end up adding some Splenda to the mix as well (I’m willing to count my calories there, not on the cream). I have to say that “fall” flavors are my favorite (cinnamon and especially pumpkin). I’m not sure why people think that pumpkin spice creamer is for Sept-Dec only. It’s *artificial* flavoring. That stuff never goes out of season! :)

I love hazelnut creamer burnt in my coffee. I learned that term from a friend have no idea if I’m using it correctly:-) I pour the creamer in and then add the coffee. I love coffee on the sofa or front porch with my honey!

March 7th, 2011 at 7:24 pm
I am new to the coffee world and now that you’ve pointed it out, it may be because of the inevitable crappy taste of the non-dairy creamers. I don’t want it to taste too much like coffee (I’m not that far yet) but when you put the flavors in, they typically taste like YUCK. Maybe I should try the half and half thing…. Dairy is yum, right?! And I am pretty sure I will have to try La Creme’s french vanilla. Yah just can’t go wrong with french vanilla. (Unless it’s FAKE, of course ;))
March 7th, 2011 at 10:38 pm
I like my coffee with non-dairy creamer and Splenda. However, since I first saw the commercial for La Creme, I’ve wanted to try to Cinnamon Vanilla. My only problem with these liquid creamers is you have to keep them in the fridge and they drastically drop the temperature of your coffee as soon as you use them. I think I’m going to give these a try though, they do look yummy!!

I used the non-dairy creamers for a while , but got stomach cramps and stomach problems so bad, I didn’t wnt to drink it anymore.
Then I just started putting ice cream in my coffee !! The coffee is great and if I use a chunky ice cream I get a treat at the bottom of my cup. Ie. fudge chunks, strawberrys.

March 11th, 2011 at 8:25 am
I enjoy the fake super-sweet non-dairy creamers myself. I probably have about 5 different varieties currently sitting in my fridge (I’m still searching for you my little Chocolate Chip Creme Brulee Creamer that I accidentally left in the trunk of my car). Plastic byproduct of petroleum is A-ok with me, along with anything else I can’t pronounce. Aslong as it tastes good. I’m also lactose intolerant, and dairy makes me sicker than a dog (but oh how I love it!).

I LOVE this stuff — found it before the big ad blitz, and I KNEW it was a good thing. Seriously, I get gastro/intestinal issues with the *other* faux stuff. I enjoy most the french vanilla too!
GOOD stuff – finally!!

I drink my morning coffee with only half n’ half. I don’t like it sweet in the a.m. In the afternoon I might have a sugary sweet coffee drink if I am near a Starbucks. I would like to try La Creme because it is authentic dairy. I dislike the other creamers and hate the powdered stuff. Thank you for telling us about La Creme!

I’m not a fan of flavored coffee (unless it is chocolate, I’ll take chocolate with anything) so I tend to skip the non-dairy stuff and stay with either milk or half and half. However, this sounds like a terrific replacement, real dairy and less fat. I would go with the Original though because I don’t like flavors.

I like a good solid medium roast coffee with 1\2 & 1/2 only–I actually measured it the other day, and I use 4 teaspoons in a 12 oz cup. I used to use add a half teaspoon of raw sugar, but I’ve weened off the sugar and only use cream now. Ive recently tried to eat a more vegan diet, but non-dairy creamers are usually SO sweet that I can’t drink coffee made with it at all. Between the overly sweetness and the artificial/chemical flavor I’ve given up on non-dairy creamer. Til now…?????

I like it black. Or I like it with Cream only. Or I like it with a lot of cream and a little sugar. I never like it too sweet. And I never like it with just sweet. But i like it any other way, and I like it often!

I tried a few times to like coffee, and I could get it down with enough milk and sugar added, but I finally figured: what’s the point in that? I do like to use a flavored creamer to my hot cocoa.

I used to put loads of sugar and cream in it until I joined Weight Watchers a few years ago, then it was Splenda and 1 tablespoon of skim milk, yes, I’d measure! I cut out the Splenda because it’s bad for you and now just add a little skim milk.

I actually hate coffee, but my husband loves it and is ADDICTED to the fake creamers. We go through two of the big bottles every week!
