Haunted House Box!
September 23rd, 2010I know Halloween is still a ways off but Bug and I had a blast making a haunted playhouse for Alpha+Mom the other day. It was so much fun.
I’m always happy when we’re painting.

Love the wrought-iron fence you’ve got going on. Really adds that Tim Burton-esque touch. Bugs tights remind me of the Wicked Witch of the Easts legs in Wizard of Oz. Very cool!

I out a comment on at the AlphaMom website saying how much I love this haunted house box. I’d like to live in a house like this. Maybe a slightly larger one could house your office :)

So fun – and that is just the best witch’s outfit too.

That house turned out really, really well. Your little model is adorable, too (I just love her long hair).
You always amaze me in how you can take the simplest things- a box- and make them into items that are bright and joyous and worth so much in happiness!

Bug looks too cute as a little witch. The house turned out great! Did you use a box for all that cardboard?

I love it! I want to add it to our Halloween decorations this year. How well do you think the cardboard will stand up to rain?

Love this. Wish Nathan was older so we could do this. He’s too underfoot. Hmmm maybe Alan can occupy him?
