My Dad is in the Wall Street Journal!
March 29th, 2010Something fun and knittery! My Dad, the knitting trucker, made it into an article in the Wall Street Journal! I’m so proud of him. Maybe now he’ll sell some slippers!

How cool! We get the WSJ in the office so I had to pull today’s out & read the real copy. I think it’s great that these guys take up hobbies like this.

that’s so cool! I saw that this morning after I read about it on Ravelry (a knitting community). I sent it to my dad who is also a trucker-but he doesn’t knit.

I saw a link to that this morning but didn’t read the article. It made me think of your dad. And now I find out your dad made it into the article. Cool!

Aww. Cool and sweet at the same time. Congrats to your Dad for the press coverage.
Maybe he needs to leverage the “trucker slippers” angle.
BTW my Grandma and my neighbour (when I was a kid) used to knit slippers like these and they are really good. We wore out our supply.

So very cool! I envy anyone who can knit, try as I might, it doesn’t work for me.

Wow your dad’s famous. Hmm I wonder if I can find a copy of the NT times at a newstand in the center of the city?

I think this is awesome, and there are some famous males who knit too.
