Funny Fashion Friday
February 5th, 2010Funny fashion has taken a turn for the pink lately. Green and rainbows still play a minor role but forget about wearing jeans. She’s got a whole drawer full of fashionable pants: kaki’s, jeans, overalls, the works (thanks to some fashionable friends who hand them down) but what does she wear over and over? Pink. Pink. Pink.
A little green here and there…
A little bit of rainbows…
But mostly pink and red. She’s my funny Valentine…
…with a little alien thrown in to keep things lively.

Adorable! It could be that Bug is the cutest (& most fashionable) kiddo on the planet!

My three year old loves to dress herself too. Unfortunately, we live in MI where her constant stream of dresses and tutus are not exactly weather appropriate. Maybe I’ll take some pictures this summer when she can wear her favorite cloths and not get sick!

We are close to the dressing by herself phase. I can still pick the outfit most days, but I fear that will end soon. Oh what will I do when she doesn’t match??

how cute! she’s getting really tall too.

Just remember…when your kids clothes don’t match…you won’t die and neither will she. It is an easy way to let them be independent.

Bug is so spunky! :-) We have those stripey rainbow pants too and boy are they fun to mismatch!

Am I the only one who’s kinda jealous of her wardrobe? Love that green sweater especially.

love the green sweater! Haha it looks like she likes to be in all one color :) Maybe if she had a sparkly dark blue shirt to match her jeans she would choose them!
SAJ says: You are onto something. She is very much like that. Everything from her crayons to her clothes to the magnets on the fridge are grouped by color. I would say she has OCD but my mom says I was the same way when I was a kid, so maybe she’ll just turn out to be a whacky artist like me.

It’s all about the simple things…

I love Bug! Truly I do, I showed these pics to my daughter and she went wild. We’ve been playing dress up ever since.

Oooh, she’s too cute!

Bug has got to be the best dress-up doll ever invented! Her clothes are so cute! All my girl is interested in is jeans and t-shirts anymore, I can’t get her to wear a dress or leggings. I have kid-clothes envy.

I love the rainbow trousers – and that hat is the PERFECT accessory… way to go, Mom.
