I love your ideas, I too try to be crafty with my kids for snackday, parties, and seasonal fun things for their preschool. I am a perfectionist, which is a problem sometimes. You are an inspiration and my new Martha! I was having a problem with my daughters halloween costume, as she wants to be a Monarch butterfly. Your wings out of cardboard are the perfect solution. I will make butterfly wings and sparkle them up!

thats why I am a mum forever too- fulfilling all my childish dreams with them and making memories.
One day I’ll send you pics of my fairy party cakes I developed and perfected over the years- I started way before you having kids and plus my own 3 I keep loving more and more every day- such joy! but I’m not old! well I tell myself one’s only as young as one feels
but I’m a July 1972 girl too
oh! watch me! I just said the word perfected! Being a perfectionist is one of my hugest problems ATM!

ioi - Gel food coloring in general will produce much more vibrant colors than liquid food coloring. The brand I use is Wilton, which can be purchased at any craft store and even some Wal-Marts and grocery stores, and of course from the Wilton website.

Please tell me how Bethany got those toadstool cupcakes so RED?! I constantly battle finding the right coloring to make a good red icing.
