Done
November 9th, 2008It’s been fun but I don’t care if I ever see another estate sale for the rest of my life. My relatives say they’re going to do it all again next week and I hope they rake in another small fortune, but they’re on their own this time. I’m done like an over-cooked baked potato.
I wrote the above at 9:30pm. Then I went to go put Bug to bed and fell asleep so I never published it. Then at 3am I woke up with a fright to the sound of raindrops on the roof. I just spent the last 15 minutes hauling boxes of clothes, books and games out of the rain. Now I’m OFFICIALLY DONE. I think the estate sale is too.

good for you! Someone loves the ‘diddies” as we call em here too I see. Blaise likes to suck on two at a time as of late. It is a riot.

Good for you guys! I am sure that next week will be great for them as well, and for you… on to your next project :).

It feels good though to get rid of old things that just weigh us down. I just cleaned out my entire place in preparation for a move out west to Vancouver in 5 months and I though I’m really tired I feel like a huge weight has been lifted and my place is so clean!

Oh wow. That’s a lot of soothers!!
I can’t imagine that doing an estate sale for so long is very much fun. I’m glad you’re getting out!

the looter story made me laugh out loud, and the handful of binkies made me laugh again – stick a fork in you; you’re done! ;^)

Oh, I love rain, but there is a downside to it. rain is WET and gets other things WET ;]

It’s raining here now and I have a cranky cat who wants to go out. But each time I open the door she gives me a cross look as if she’s saying “not that door, you silly woman I want the door that leads to the DRY outsides”.
She doesn’t like to get her paws wet.

That picture cracks me up. I think the 3 a.m. rain dodge would be the end of me too.
