My Little “E-ba”

I just wanted to show you how cute her costume turned out. She wore it! Can you believe it? I’m so glad. We had some tears while we were trying to get photos taken before we headed out but I think it was more because I was in my Wall-E box and not able to pick her up if she needed me. The Wall-E box was quickly ditched and all was well.

Here she is posing with the other kids and squeezing the tears in. It’s always so hard to get Halloween photos. I’m glad we took some inside before we headed out trick-or-treating. I need to take a course on active night photography. Does Angella have any posts on that?

p.s. I forgot to add that Eva’s hat was crocheted by none other than Jen from Jen’s Space. How thoughtless of me. It made the costume!

I love the stocking hat solution, since she is so used to wearing hats.
Did CC make it? I don’t see a seam so she must have used the double pointed needles I sent to her.

I also like that the costume is white. We always seem to pick dark costumes that can’t be seen in the dark.

OK, its been a year since the last halloween post, and I cant believe it. She has grown sooo much and I didnt even realize it until I went back to see the BUG costume of 2007. WOW. SHes so cute. I love the idea of this Eva costume because of the beanie keeping her warm, and you being able to put warm clothes on under the costume itself. IM glad you had a nice time. Well DOne once agian.

Okay, totally cute! I have to ask though, was the girl in the blue dress standing next to Bug trying to look just like Michelle Williams or was that an accident? She looks just like her!

I wish we had a Bethany with us when we went trick or treating. You got some great shots of all the kiddos. I get so caught up in the fun I forget to take pictures.
I think the open mouth delight of BB in that one picture will be my all time favorite. I’m glad Bug warmed up to her costume. We always hold our breath until everyone is in costume around here too. You never know what’s going to happen (or not happen, ha) I’m glad the hat worked. I think you did a great job with the sewing on of the Eva face. You got it perfect.

Well I am glad to see you all had fun and what a posse of very pretty trick or treaters :)
I was almost cleaned out of sweets by my visitors. At one time I had a stream of ten year old boys careering down my steps in excited exhuberance – they were very nice though. The little ones are the cutest as they are so amazed at been offered a whole bowl of sweets to choose from. Ahhh.
Do you remember way back in March I mentioned I was going to be an auntie again? Well later on today NY time, maybe early tomorrow I should be. I nibbling my nails here wishing my dear sis-in-law a smooth deliverly.

What a fun Halloween. I got to go out for the first time since I was a kid this year. I usually stay home and hand out the treats.

Cute, cute, cute! I just love Halloween. I watched some of Wall-E (minus the head phones) on the plane ride home from Maui on Sunday. So, now I know who Eve is!
