I love your second day story. I still stare at my kids, but I know the moment you mean. When Apple was born last fall, my FIL couldn't understand how I didn't mind sitting upstairs by myself with just little Apple for two whole days. He couldn't understand that I wasn't bored. And truthfully, I wasn't it was the best two days I had to get to know my new little baby. And to treasure those first few days with her. Glad you had a fabulous Mother’s Day!
