The letter “I” was easy. Ice Cream! Baby Bug must point at our big red refrigerator about a thousand times a day and say, “I-keam?”

But “J” has got me stumped. I know, stumped already whatever am I going to do when I get to “Q” and “X”? Well, ask you guys of course. I wanted to illustrate “J is for Jump” but it needs to be something more than just the letter “J” jumping. I was thinking jelly bean or jaybird but I’m not sure. I’m not too keen to introduce yet another sweet to the collection as they are already becoming a problem and Baby Bug doesn’t even know what jaybird is yet. We don’t have them here. At least I don’t think so. Maybe I’m thinking of the bluejay. Hmm… not sure.

Anybody have a good “J” subject? I’m all ears. I’ll put up the downloadable pdf when I have a J card. Coming soon… I hope.

Look what arrived in the mail the other day. Isn’t it great how my family supports my crazy obsessions? I love my family. My Aunt Keren sewed this based on a simple sketch I drew up. She added the applique with my approval but it was totally her idea. I love it. I can’t wait to take pictures of Baby Bug in it.

Just so you don’t worry that I’ve turned into a dog person and abandoned my love for cats, here is a picture of Pounce. Baby Bug and I got bored so we dressed him.

He did not like it.

I wanted to do “Green Crayon” for “G” but I think it’s kind of a stretch for little ones to make that association. Even though Baby Bug LOVES her green crayon almost more than she loves me, half the time she calls it “Yellow”. Everything is yellow to her half the time.

“H” is easy. Hat of course. We are very much into fashion and hats at our house. Who knew I would have such a girly-girl as a daughter. Maybe it was all that pink I subjected her to.

Get your letters here while they’re hot! I say that because eventually I’m going to take them down off my server and they will be gone forever! No, not forever. They’ll be available as a complete collection (with lower case) in a pretty box in my shop that is coming someday… Oh no! You just missed them.
