My Art is going to the Dogs! The Karma Rescue Dogs that is…
Email me if you think you might come or if you would like more info. I’m also sending out postcards to those on my mailing list within driving distance of Redondo Beach. If you’d like to be on my mailing list, email me your address and I’ll send you a postcard. If you live far away and you’d just like a postcard for the fun of it, you can email me your address too! I hope lots of people can come.

I’m hoping to get a friend of mine and his fantastic band (I will link his band’s website when it’s a sure thing) to play at the show. It will be so fun. Music and art and food! Yippeee! Maybe I’ll even dance for you. Baby Bug and I are working on a number. There is also a rumor that a dog-loving celebrity will be there… but it could just be a rumor. Or maybe we can make it true, anybody know a dog-loving celebrity in the LA area we could coax to come? You know you want to come. There might even be dog cupcakes!
I am going to make digital prints for posters and postcards, tshirts etc… to sell at the show (and to those of you who can’t make it.) I haven’t made them yet so I’m stressing just a little bit. Maybe you have some suggestions?. What would you like to see as a re-printable graphic? Something I could autograph with a sharpie and pretend I’m a big famous artist…. Ha ha ha… I dream big. So it’s just a dog bakery and not the Getty… that’s okay. It’s art and it’s for a good cause!!!!

Oh, but I WILL be in your ‘hood Columbus Day weekend. Apparently I’m the only person who knows when Columbus Day is but it’s October. And as Whoorl said, I will be “doing all of SoCal”.

Would love to make it but not sure if we can. We’ll be out the first weekend (my Sis & family are moving, within SoCal). Would really like getting a post card just the same if you can spare. I’m excited for you!

Oh man…that might be the weekend that I am driving to Arizona. SOB!! But, if I don’t go there, I will definitely head up to Redondo. I would love to see your pieces in person. :-) Oh hey, I sent you an email last week, did you receive it? I realize that you are crazy busy right now, so no rush to respond.

Oh if only I wasn’t having a baby, due on the 28th, I would so try to get there. Hubby and I were just talking about how much we loved our trip to San Diego last fall and if only we had a reason to make a trip back to California. This would have been a fantastic one. Will try to make your next one for sure :).

dangit why can’t I still be in college? If I were I would so be there. And, good grief, how fast is Leah driving to get there in FIVE HOURS?! I know where both ya’ll live and unless you drove in the middle of the night it’s nigh impossible, I say.

Sounds like such a great time, wish I could come, however it is my bro’s wedding day so I shall stay put (and it would take hours to fly that far) ……if I could only transport myself I could come between the ceremony and the reception….ha, when will ‘they’ ever invent the teleporter, I could sure use one!

I think you should do prints, t-shirts, whatever of the coffee-drinking dogs, any of them! Those are so very SAJ-esque. :-) I wish I could be there to get something signed by you with a sharpie!

Love your paintings. What medium do you use? I am working on a dog painting right now, too, and maybe I’ll turn it into a series as well. Love that idea. Yours are just so colorful and have so much character. Hope your show goes great!`
