Oh, but she’s a pretty baby and YAY for BB, another milestone!
February 6th, 2007 at 9:42 am
She is so cute. I love how she clapped her hands when she stood up, so pleased with herself (and cute too)
February 6th, 2007 at 10:28 am
She actually moves like a dancer–a modern dancer, but still…very fluid.
Also, nice downward dog.

I love the headstand pictures and the part in the video where she is crawling towards you on all four. Adorable.

Warning, you may want to delete the post posted at 3.44 p.m. today. Super long, so probably messes with your loading/band width or what-ever.
Hint, get the neices to teach baby bug how to turn a somersault. My grandson does the standing bent in two like BB, but all the grownups in his life are too big (be it heavy or tall) to teach him.
Way to go BB.

i have been a lurker for a VERY VERY long time, before you were pregnant, before trip to europe (was it france? i forgot) i don’t know why i haven’t commented before, i should have, i love reading about your and baby bug’s adventures everyday, this is my favorite blog to read and i had to comment to tell you that i’m soooooooooooo happy that you used youtube this time, i’ve never been able to see any of the video’s bc i’m a pc user and hate quicktime, so please if you can keep using youtube so i can see baby bug in action
and a big congratulations to you both, i’m sure first steps aren’t very far away, the video was so cute, you’re both just too sweet
February 6th, 2007 at 7:39 pm
BB is SO adorable! Congrats to you both making it this far and remaining (mostly?) sane :)
February 6th, 2007 at 8:57 pm
Awww, way to go!! She’s so cute getting up on those feet. Audrey still hasn’t figured out how to do that. She keeps getting her butt in the air and walking backwards, haha. Right now she needs something to pull up on and then she take a step away and stand for a few seconds before falling to her butt.
Has the standing affected sleeping at all? Audrey is starting to have night wakings and naps are really wacky. I think we’re transitioning to one nap.

February 7th, 2007 at 9:16 pm
OH MY GAWD! That was so cute! Yay for baby bug!!
February 8th, 2007 at 8:09 am
Yea!!! Baby Bug
Try holding onto her hips when she is praticing walking if you want her to walk fast. It gets them used to holding their own upper body weight and actually balancing on their feet. I started teaching the kids that way after a friend’s baby could only walk with their hands above their head for the first few weeks.
But yeah yeah yeah for baby bug
February 8th, 2007 at 8:14 am
I found myself all cheery and teary as I watched Baby Bug try her hardest to stand on her own two feet :) Thank you for sharing these little delights. Your blog has always been a bright spot on the internet :)
February 9th, 2007 at 6:54 am
