Play Date Cards

September 8th, 2006

Yay! Free stuff! Here are the play date cards I was dreaming up. There is space for you to add your phone number or email or whatever. The file is a pdf. I don’t use microsoft programs so I don’t know if a pdf is the right kind of file to import into a word doc or whatever layout program is common these days. If you have photoshop, it should be pretty easy to open and modify. Or you could just do it old school and scrawl your digits with a pen or a typewriter. Does anybody even have a typewriter anymore? If you need them saved in a different format, let me know. OR you could pay pal me five bucks and I’ll customize them for you any way you want.

Very cute! I made some mommy cards that are 3×5 to hand out like these. But I like yours better. :)

I could do an adult version… Or maybe I should do an “un-friendly” version like the anti-valentines. That would be funny.

  6. Ninotchka Says:

Those are SO adorable. I made mommy cards when my oldest daughter first started Kindergarten. Ahhh, memories…she’s in FIFTH grade now. Holy moly.

  7. Jamie Says:

You are one creative mama! My favorite is the “cooties” card. Uh…not that we have them or anything. :)

  8. Jennifer Says:

Those are so cute. Thanks for sharing :) Hopefully I can figure out how to get my info on them. Unfriendly ones could be pretty funny. Like dating cards. “Please don’t call me any more” . Or even anonymous cards you could drop off in someones cubicle if they annoy you. Not that I am anywhere near cubicles lately, but I could have used one back in the day…

  9. Dallas Says:

Those are adorable. You are so nice (and pretty!) to share! Thanks.

They are fantastic, how fun! I may take you up on the customized ones, I will have to play tonight to see if I can import them somehow. Sadly I am a Microsoft user ;)

You’re a great designer. I don’t even have kids, but I feel like printing out those adorable cards and carrying them in my wallet. =) Nice work.

What cutsy little “calling cards” . . . when my tribe were small I barely had time to be sure they were fed and clean and changed. For recreation we just loaded only son’s wagon with beach paraphenalia and took off for the ocean only two blocks away

I love your play date cards! I think that is such a great idea. I don’t have much use for them now, but I’m totally downloading them for use later. I’m tempted to use them for myself. I could invite my own friends over for a play date, right?

  14. Liane Says:

I will totally pay pal you 5 bucks to put a RookieMoms.com spin on the cards that we can post on our site. Let me know when you think you could do that…?
